BMI provides consulting for those who wish to use BMI's latest developments. Since its creation in 2001, Ohio State's Department of Biomedical Informatics has continually been on the leading-edge of informatics technology. BMI has led progress on multiple international initiatives, including the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIGTM) and VirtualPACs.
Our faculty and staff include experts from a broad range of specializations in biomedical research, imaging, high-performance computing, and grid development.
