OSU Department of Biomedical Informatics

Center for IT Innovations in Healthcare (CITIH)

The Center for IT Innovations in Healthcare (CITIH) is the Ohio State University Medical Center’s gateway for collaboration with technology leaders seeking to create and apply new concepts and applications in a cutting edge environment leading the way in personalized healthcare. Partnering with CITIH provides industry leaders with access to the operating environment of one of the nation’s most wired hospitals and the expertise of some of the world’s top leaders in biomedical informatics. Industry collaborations with CITIH will facilitate opportunities for partners to develop, test, demonstrate, and market the value of IT innovations that improve people’s lives through improved health.

Individuals and industry leaders can collaborate with and support CITIH’s mission in at least two ways:

  1. Industrial Affiliates Program Membership: CITIH’s Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) helps accomplish CITIH’s mission by fostering systematic collaborative opportunities and relationships between CITIH’s expert faculty in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and industry partners.
  2. Individual Donations: Gifts may be made for targeted initiatives, specific research areas, endowed chairs, and scholarships. General donations are also welcome. For more information on individual donations, please contact: Steve Tumblin, Director of Development, at 614-293-2911 or stephen.tumblin@osumc.edu.
