OSU Awarded caBIG Knowledge Center Grant

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) recently awarded OSU Biomedical Informatics (BMI) a caBig Knowledge Center contract. Through caBig, biomedical researchers can share vast amounts of scientific information critical to the advancement of patient care. As lead caGrid developers, Ohio State has been supported by various contracts. The caGrid Knowledge Centers will help focus efforts on specific areas of cancer informatics research and development. "Ohio State's center will be the 'go to' place for caGrid development and caGrid applications," Joel Saltz, MD, PhD, BMI, explains.
