Daniel Janies and his teams' publications on SARS and
Avian Influenza were mentioned in a comprehensive story on zoonotic diseases
entitled "Animal Reservoirs : Harboring the Next Pandemic" by Myrna Wantanabe
in the September 2008 issue of BioScience. The magazine is a peer-reviewed, heavily cited, monthly journal of accessible
content produced by the The American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS). The AIBS is a non-profit association dedicated to advancing biological
research and education for the welfare of society.
