BMI Participates in M.D. Camp

BMI is pleased to participate in M.D. Camp, a three week summer camp that gives juniors, seniors and recent high school graduates a taste of what medical school involves. It is open to students who are interested in pursuing careers in all disciplines of health science and who come from a race or ethnicity that is underrepresented in medical fields.
BMI will host a group of students on July 5th where we will present and explain what biomedical informatics is and what activities our faculty and researchers do to support medicine and medical research. Demonstrations of recent research will highlight the presentations.
