Mobius 1.0 middleware released

BMI and the Multiscale Computing Laboratory has released version 1.0 of the Mobius software. Mobius is middleware designed to make it possible to coherently share and manage data in a distributed computing environment. The overarching goal of Mobius is to give the Grid and distributed computing communities the ability to exchange discriptions of data across and between institutions transparently and to enable querying, storage, and retrieval of such data.
