Wheeler, W. C., L. Aagesen, C. P. Arango, J. Faivovich, T. Grant, C. D'Haese, D. Janies, W. L. Smith, A. Varon and G. Giribet. 2006. Dynamic homology and phylogenetic systematics: a unified approach using POY. American Museum of Natural History, New York. ISBN 0-913424-58-7.

Phylogenetic systematics in the genomic era poses many challenges. This volume addresses those challenges by developing a unified, logically consistent framework for analyzing the broadest possible diversity of evidence as implemented in the computer program POY. The book also presents examples of how problems are approached via synergistic development of heuristic algorithms and high performance or cluster computers.
