Scott Oster to Speak at CLADE Workshop June 25th, 2007

Scott Oster, Senior Research Specialist in OSU's Department of Biomedical Informatics, will present the keynote address at the Challenges of Large Applications in Distributed Environments (CLADE) workshop, held in conjunction with the 16th International Symposium on High Performance Distributed Computing (HPDC), in Monterey Bay, California on June 25. CLADE brings together a talented group of pragmatic application end users and tool builders working with distributed applications in high end computers. Oster will discuss the challenges of data integration in large application environments, specifically addressing his experiences working on the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG: http://cabig.cancer.gov).
