Two students from Ohio State's BMI program awarded prizes at Ohio Collaborative Conference

Two students from Ohio State's BMI program were prize winners at the OCCBIO, which took place from July 9th-11th.

Boyan Alexandrov (from the undergraduate program in SBS and currently funded by the Research on Research program of the Digital Union) won for his poster "Phylogenomic Analysis of Infectious Diseases". Co-authors include: Andrew Hill, Diego Pol, Farhat Habib, Daniel Janies

Andrew Johnson (from IBGP) won for his talk "Personal Phylogenomics: First Human Lineage Trees Based on Large HapMap Datasets". Co-authors include: Michael Ott, Jaroslaw Zola, Srinivas Aluru, Alexandros Stamatakis, Daniel A. Janies.
