Dr. Daniel Masys of Vanderbilt Visits BMI as Distinguished Lecture

The OSU Department of Biomedical Informatics hosted Dr. Daniel Masys of Vanderbilt University as part of the Distinguished Lecture Series. Dr. Masys is Professor and Chair of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. His talk took place on December 17th, in OSU's new Biomedical Research Tower. Dr. Masys discussed the creation and application of two large scale resources currently being used at Vanderbilt. His presentation was titled “The Informatics of Genome-phenome Correlation Using De-identified DNA Samples and Clinically Derived Data”.
