Vijay received a B.E. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India in June 2003. He also received a Master of Science in Chemistry from the same university under its dual-degree scheme. Vijay is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. He is being advised by Dr. Joel Saltz. He has been working as a Graduate Research Associate at BMI since September 2003.

Project Involvement
Vijay's research interests include developing techniques/middleware for efficient storage, retrieval and analysis of large datasets in distributed environments.
