I was born in Tekirdag, Turkey in 1979. I graduated from the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Primary School in Malkara, where almost all of my family is still living in. I attended to Kadikoy Anadolu Lisesi in Istanbul for 7 years and graduated in 1997. I got married to Merve in July, 2006.Activities
I am serving as the secretary of the Turkish Students Association (TSA) at OSU during the 2008-2009 academic year.
I am involved in Group Wind Anatolia, Turkish Folkdance Group at OSU. We perform regional folk dances (Kirklareli and Karadeniz) at several events such as Columbus International Festival, Taste of OSU, etc. since 2007. Here are some pictures of us while dancing.
I like playing the clarinet (since October 2009!, but I believe I am learning quickly!!), mostly, Turkish classical music.
